A fairytale stay in a castle

Enchanting views greeted us each morning from our tower room. The intimate setting lent a personal touch, and the staff surprised us daily with thoughtful gifts. Dining was a delight, with local dishes served in a charming historic restaurant.

Although the lack of a nearby vibrant village made evening options limited. Navigating around the castle could be challenging due to its historic design.

This hotel is spectacular. The ordinary rooms are a bit small and the bathroom is not separated from the sleeping room. The toilet is separate. Nevertheless, a fine experience. Eating in the dining hall with 10 meters to the ceiling is quite extraordinary and in addition, the food is good, both for breakfast and for dinner.

The parador is in a lovely location with amazing views. Every corner was like stepping back in time, and the breakfast was very nice. The restaurant offered a good choice of local dishes, and the staff were particularly charming and helpful.

Location not far from the surrounding Jucar river, a separate building a ' bar ' and the ruins. Compact and airy units with a fantastic view, comfortable beds and a wonderful high ceiling, HELPFUL employees.

Location adjacent to the surrounding Jucar river and reservoir, and the cafeteria. Breakfast with bland coffee.

Staying in the unique tower room was a highlight, offering fine views and a magical atmosphere. It reminded me of living in a fairytale castle!

Very nice hotel with very good but expensive restaurant. Atmosphere of the castle created very nicely. Absolutely beautiful location in the medieval city.

Breakfast a-la carte, too long too wait for it. Bar closes quiet early, not possible to get beer at 11 p.m.

We stayed for one night in a Standard Double Room. dinner was delightful with local dishes, and the breakfast served at the table was truly exceptional. The stunning bar area, with its historical charm, was a highlight, although the limited bar hours were a bit of a letdown.

The hotel is very nice situated in the old village of Alarcon and the atmosphere is good

The rooms are to small and very modern, has nothing to do with a catle atmosphere. The restaurant is not optimal. Price / quality is nog good

Staying in a tower room provided fine views over the gorge. Limited dining options nearby made evenings challenging. Enjoyed hiking trails surrounding the area which added to the experience.

The bar hours were a bit wonky-by the time I fancied a drink, it was already time for bed! You might need a map to find your way around that maze of a castle!
